Editing Dynamic System Settings

You can change the default value of a Dynamic System Setting (DSS). For example, you may want to disable encryption and authentication among search nodes. To do so, you can edit the default value of the indexing/distributed/enable-inter_node_encryption DSS.

  1. In the Records explorer, click SysAdmin > Dynamic System Settings.
  2. Use the filter to find the setting that you want to update.
  3. Click the row of the setting that you want to update.
  4. Change the value.
  5. Click Save.
